Our Journey
ABOUT US
Dare to Overcome (DTO) is a premier global event emphasizing diversity, equity, and inclusion in business, aligning with the UN Sustainable Development Goal 16 for peace, justice, and strong institutions. Supported by global leaders like former Brazilian President Michel Temer, former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, and former Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama, DTO fosters allyship through forums and awards.
DTO India, produced by Teamwork Arts, debuted in New Delhi last year. Following its 2023 success, DTO returns December on 9, 2024, at New Delhi’s India Habitat Centre, honouring corporate leaders advancing inclusion in core business, philanthropy, and public policy advocacy, and promoting intercultural workplace understanding.
With India’s dynamic socio-economic progress and against the backdrop of India's G20 Presidency, DTO had its debut in New Delhi last year, which was a great success, celebrating the theme ‘Unity in Diversity’. DTO 2023 hosted discourses that explored India’s rich cultural and spiritual diversity as a tremendous business asset to the country. With enlightening sessions on many themes, DTO 2023 also had an all-women round table on the role of women leaders in the workplace, and was the first-ever international gathering of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) in India, committed to fostering intercultural understanding in corporate workplaces. The forum had representatives from MNCs such as Salesforce, PayPal, Equinix, American Airlines etc.
The second edition of DTO in India is slated for 9th December, 2024, at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, and hopes to continue the success of its previous editions. Like last year, this year too, the forum will recognise corporate leaders who are advancing allyship in three key areas that form the essence of DTO's goals:
1. Core Business
2. Social Investment and Philanthropy
3. Advocacy and Public Policy Engagement
